Photography Use
We use high-resolution photographs. High-quality imagery reflects the high quality of care we provide. We avoid awkward cropping, for instance a photo of a person’s body with the head cropped out. If the photo does not fit, then find an alternative.
Headshot Photography
Professional headshots are scheduled for physicians, managers, and other associates upon request.
Our studio is located at 2550 Meadowbrook Rd, Benton Harbor, MI. When you arrive please check-in at the Marketing and Communications department.
MEN: Tips for Choosing Clothing
Think classic— pick your favorite fitted suit that is preferably a solid dark color like navy blue, black, or charcoal gray. Choose a suit that doesn’t bunch up when buttoned or while sitting; match your shirt and tie accordingly.
WOMEN: Tips for Choosing Clothing
Think professional— pick a suit or outfit that isn’t dated. Try to avoid dresses or blouses with bold, extravagant patterns or colors, unless you can layer with a blazer or sweater on top. The patterned material should be an accent piece underneath.
A Special Note
Providers: If you have a labcoat, please bring it with you. There is one available in the studio, however, your’s may be a better fit to your personal individual size.
Practice Smiling and Posing
- You may be asked to move one shoulder forward and down while gently tilting your head in the opposite direction of that shoulder. We are trying to create a nice relaxed look with a sharp shadow on the jawline.
- When people laugh, they have a natural tendency to throw their heads back. Practice smiling naturally while keeping the head forward and down at the same time.
- The last tip is for getting a better jawline in a side on shot. Position an ear towards the camera without dropping the rear shoulder. This technique tightens the skin over the chin and punches out the jawline.
