Whether you want to see us virtually or in person, we are ready for you. Our staff is currently scheduling for both virtual consults and in person appointments based on your individual needs. If you have an upcoming appointment scheduled, a member of our team will be in touch with you.
We are committed to do more than ever before to help keep you safe. As a result, we have revised some of our processes and procedures. Here is what you can expect when attending an upcoming appointment.
Screening Prior to Arrival
Prior to your appointment, you will receive a phone call asking if you have had any of the following symptoms within the last 14 days:
- Fever greater than 100.4 degrees
- Persistent cough
- Shortness of breath
- Sore throat
- Recently diminished sense of taste or smell
- Flu-like symptoms (chills, body aches, headaches)
We will also ask the following questions:
- Have you traveled outside the state of country in the last 14 days?
- Have you had direct contact with anyone with confirmed COVID-19 in the last 14 days?
*Please note: If you answer yes to any of the questions above, we will need to reschedule your appointment.
While You're At the Practice
We still aren't allowing visitors at this time and ask that come to your appointment alone. A loved one is welcome to accompany you if you need physical assistance getting in the building. We will ask them to wait in their vehicle while you are receiving care and let them know when you are ready to leave.
Upon entering the practice, you will receive a temperature check and be asked to sanitize your hands. We will also provide you with a face mask to be worn during your appointment.
Enhanced Cleaning and Safety Measures
To increase safety and limit unnecessary exposure to COVID-19, we have implemented several measures including:
- Extra cleaning throughout our facility and frequent cleaning of high touch areas.
- Team members wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure patients and colleagues are safe.
- All employees and patients are screened before they enter the building.
- Social distancing floor signage to maintain CDC guidelines.
- Dedicated exam rooms for certain procedures and enhanced cleaning measures between appointments.
- Limited time spent in waiting rooms by removing or spacing out chairs and limiting the number of in person appointments scheduled at one time.
